—The aircraft was originally obtained from U.S. Forest Service.

—Plane was used for seeding pines in Georgia in the 1950's.

—Aircraft went over on its back (2 times) in 1958 and was donated to NMC Aviation Department.

—Original aircraft was a PA-18A (A for agriculture) and is being converted to a PA-18 (2 seat).

—Plane was also configured for use with floats.

—A Lycoming O-360 is will be installed.
